Architect
The purpose of using the classroom design or architect website is to outline where items and students will be in your classroom. With Architect, you can determine where everything from desks to projector will be in your classroom. This tool can help keep your room organized as well as set up a seating chart. Seating charts are very important in making sure there is order in the classroom and that you can avoid having any altercations between students.
The artifact reflects the technology used, because it shows what technology is incorporated in the classroom, as well as where the technology will be incorporated. With the Architect tool, we can design where computers, televisions, projectors and more are located in the classroom. Also, it incorporates the use of computer into the classroom by designing the layout online.
I would use this technology to organize and design where things are in my classroom. By making a grid and positioning the various things in the classroom, I can optimize my space which leads to a better, more organized atmosphere. I'd also use this for a seating chart. By putting different kids in different seats I can avoid bickering, bullying and other classroom issues students have with each other.
